Originating from Montreal, Quebec, the band quickly distinguished themselves from their American counterparts by infusing jazz-influenced drumming with unparalleled aggression. This four-track release was the world’s first introduction to the terrifying vocal range of Lord Worm, whose guttural delivery became a defining characteristic of the band’s early sound. Alongside him, drummer Flo Mounier demonstrated a level of speed and precision that would eventually make him a legend among percussionists.
